Yesterday, our team was in Rome for the ๐—ก๐—”๐— ๐—˜๐—ซ ๐—”๐—ป๐—ป๐˜‚๐—ฎ๐—น ๐— ๐—ฒ๐—ฒ๐˜๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ด ๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿฌ๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿฒ !

It was an incredible day of high-level networking. We focused heavily on the next frontiers of global connectivity: Artificial Intelligence, the shifting geopolitical landscape, and the expansion of the internet into space and lunar networks.

Here are our top takeaways:

๐ŸŒ™ The Moon Network: Space internet is moving beyond Earth’s orbit. Interoperable lunar communications networks (like LunaNet) are transitioning from theory to reality, requiring entirely new routing paradigms.
๐ŸŒ Geopolitical Sovereignty: Data routing faces rising regulatory fragmentation. National digital sovereignty and the physical security of subsea, terrestrial, and orbital assets are now top priorities.
๐Ÿค– AI Infrastructure: The explosion of AI workloads requires massive, secure, and localized traffic exchange, transforming how internet exchange points must scale.
