My Experience at EPF 2026: Reflections and key takeaways

I’ve spent an incredible few days participating in EPF 2026. It has been a fantastic opportunity to sync up with fellow peering professionals, exchange infrastructure updates, and dive deep into the future of network scaling.

From discussions on building a more resilient, decentralized mesh internet to driving regional digital growth, the collaborative energy here is unmatched.

A few of my key takeaways from the forum:

🔹 Collaboration is key: Strengthening IXP relationships directly improves cross-border connectivity and routing stability.
🔹 Scaling sustainably: As traffic demands surge, engineering choices must focus heavily on network resilience and automated traffic engineering.

It was great to reconnect with old colleagues and build new peering relationships.
